Welcome to the SpicE Community of Practice on teacher education focused on Special Education, a virtual space bringing together educators interested in fostering training and policy change in STEAM for a more inclusive educational system.
This community of practice has been conceived as an open online collaborative platform for practitioners with relevant experience or background within Special Education and/or STEAM areas. It is a space to promote active participation and dialogue among their members and foster the exchange of experiences and resources related to Special Education.
By signing in to this Community of Practice you will be able to participate in the 3 main forums available in the platform. In each forum, you will be able to participate in ongoing topic discussions related to Special Education in STEAM, as well as to initiate new discussions that you might consider relevant to the community.
The main forums are the following:
- DISCUSSIONS: This forum contains different topic discussions (in English, Greek, Bulgarian and Spanish) connected to different outputs of the SpicE project, as well as general discussions about challenges and opportunities for stakeholders working in Special Education in STEAM.
- RESOURCES: This forum aims to disseminate the materials published in the SpicE library. It also provides members with a space for presenting other resources and publications of interest for the community.
- EVENTS & CONFERENCES: This forum can be used by all members for announcing relevant events to the community, such as conferences and call for papers, courses, workshops or webinars, among others.
