The University of Macedonia’s “Reflection of Disability in Art” (iRoDi) Festival has announced its 2024 photography competition and exhibition titled “My Moments Are…”. The competition, designed to promote social inclusion through art, featured entries from 50 participants with and without disabilities.
Collaborating with local organizations, including the Municipality of Neapolis-Sykeon and the Down Syndrome Association of Greece, the initiative highlights the creativity and perspectives of diverse individuals. The judging panel consists of prominent photographers and psychologists who specialize in disability and art.
The award ceremony and exhibition opening will occur on June 1, 2024, during a seminar focused on disability, violence, and youth. The exhibition will be hosted at the University of Macedonia Library until December 20, 2024. This event underscores the festival’s mission to foster societal change through artistic expression and inclusivity.
