5th SpicE Project Meeting in Cyprus
The SpicE Academy EU team convened for its fifth project meeting at the University of Cyprus from October 31st to November 1st, 2024. The gathering brought together partners from across Europe to discuss strategies for promoting inclusive STEAM education. The two-day meeting combined in-depth discussions and strategic planning, focusing on advancing the project’s goals and refining its methodologies.
The agenda featured key sessions on project dissemination, evaluation, and optimization. Participants reviewed the progress of current initiatives, including the training program, community of practice, and inclusive STEAM education alliance. A standout highlight was the session on the training program’s mobilities and blended learning approaches, emphasizing collaborative methods and real-world applicability. These discussions reinforced the project’s commitment to fostering equitable educational practices and leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.
Looking ahead, the SpicE team outlined plans for the 2025 STEM Discovery Campaign and the project’s final conference. These events aim to showcase the project’s outcomes and engage stakeholders across Europe in inclusive STEAM education. The meeting concluded with a sense of shared purpose and enthusiasm for driving forward impactful initiatives that empower educators and learners alike.
