Our core service is the MOOC, designed for STEAM Special Education educators, supplemented by both online and classroom activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Launching Date: 9th September<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>About the MOOC<\/h2>\n<p>The goal of this Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is to support teachers\u2019 professional development by building foundational understandings, strategies, and competences to become Inclusive STEAM educators. This is achieved through self-regulated learning and community-building activities.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Features:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Duration<\/strong>: The MOOC spans five weeks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Structure<\/strong>: Each week consists of three to five modules.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Content<\/strong>: The modules include self-running presentations and forum activities for participants to exchange experiences, ideas, and best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Learning Goals:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop knowledge of Inclusive and Special Education.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and apply the STEAM education approach in inclusive classrooms.<\/li>\n<li>Learn about resources and tools for Inclusive STEAM Education, including Assistive Technology.<\/li>\n<li>Develop techniques to assess and monitor individual learners\u2019 needs and performance.<\/li>\n<li>Enhance understanding of EU policies promoting STEAM Education and Inclusion.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with national and international educational communities of the SpicE project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Participant&#8217;s Profile:<\/h3>\n<p>The main target group is pre- and in-service primary school teachers. However, the MOOC is open to all individuals interested in these areas, especially those with a background in education, acquired teaching experience, or a degree in Educational Sciences or a related field.<\/p>\n<h3>Assessment Methods:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Multiple-Choice Questions<\/strong>: At the end of each module, participants will be assessed through multiple-choice questions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certification<\/strong>: Learners scoring above 60% will receive an online badge.
